Negus Marine began in business in 1975 by Rone L Negus Sr. and sons Ed, Don and Dan. Before incorporating the retail business in October 1975, Mr. Negus Sr. designed and built custom wood hull boats from 10 foot skiffs to 25 foot deep-vee boats. This experience coupled with running and fishing these boats in the northern gulf coast waters laid the foundation for the retail store of today which is the oldest recreational marine business in Mobile, Alabama. Current owners Ed and Don Negus have many years of experience fishing inshore, offshore, and bill fishing in tournaments and for recreation. This, plus designing and building customized offshore boats from raw materials to finished products lends knowledge that assures customers that boats purchased at Negus marine are top quality and will fit you fishing and cruising needs. Negus Marine always services what it sells and invites customers to come by its showroom in Mobile where low overhead generates great savings.
